The International Space Station Research and Development Conference (ISSRDC) is an annual event hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, Inc. (CASIS), manager of the International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory; NASA; and the American Astronautical Society. This year’s event, scheduled for July 29-August 1, 2024, will include dynamic keynote speakers, plenary presentations, technical sessions, lightning talks, workshops, and an investor session, among other engaging activities.

This year’s conference will offer keynote sessions from transformative science leaders who will explore the future of space-based research and development, covering promising research areas, emerging technologies, and current results from ISS research. Subject matter expert workshops will gather thought leaders from outside the space industry together with ISS researchers, service providers, and potential future ISS National Lab users. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content will highlight ISS-related educational resources and activities of interest to students, parents, space enthusiasts, and educators.

A marketplace expo will provide exhibitors with a truly unique opportunity to engage with participants through exposure to thousands of attendees, policymakers, and other thought leaders. Companies and partners supporting the ISS will be available throughout the conference to talk with attendees about space-based research, services, capabilities, and opportunities available in low Earth orbit. Register now to join us in Boston.
